RANK(S): Open LINE(S): CE POSTED: 8/8/2025 The Department of Radiology at Stanford University School of Medicine is excited to announce an opportunity for board-certified or board-eligible radiologists to join our expanding clinical practice in the San Francisco East Bay. This is a Stanford faculty role housed within our Community Radiology Division and offers a unique opportunity to help shape and grow a dynamic, high-quality imaging practice. The position is open rank in the Clinician Educator Line , with academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. The primary focus is on excellence in clinical care and teaching aligned with programmatic needs. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging—with a strong emphasis on body imaging—at hospital and outpatient centers in Pleasanton and surrounding communities, including participation in the call pool. Fellowship training in abdominal/body imaging is strongly preferred. We are seeking an energetic, collegial radiologist with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in engaging with the referring community and regional patient populations. Leadership Opportunity : In conjunction with the primary appointment, candidates with suitable clinical and administrative experience may be considered for the role of Associate Division Chief of the Division of Community Radiology , a leadership position focused on strategic growth and continued development of subspecialty diagnostic imaging services across our community sites. The applicant should have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree(s) or equivalent and have a California Medical license prior to appointment start date. Salary Range: The expected base pay range for this position is: Clinical Assistant Professor: $488,000 - $506,000 Clinical Associate Professor: $524,000 - $539,000 Clinical Professor: $559,000 - $586,000 This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
