RANK(S): Open LINE(S): CE POSTED: 2/7/2024 The Department of Radiology at Stanford University and Stanford Children’s Health seek a full-time pediatric interventional radiologist to join the faculty and to serve as Section Chief of Pediatric Interventional Radiology. This position is open rank in the Clinician Educator Line. The major criteria for appointment in the Clinician Educator Line is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care and clinical teaching appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The Section Chief of Pediatric Interventional Radiology will be responsible for leading a group of pediatric interventional radiologists, growing the interventional program, clinical operations, teaching, and research activities for the pediatric interventional radiology program based at the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree and completed fellowship training in pediatric interventional radiology or demonstrate equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record for both clinical and educational achievement in pediatric interventional radiology. Exceptional leadership and administrative skills are also required. The successful candidate will participate in clinical activities, teaching, and, if applicable, research in the pediatric interventional radiology program at LPCH. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
