Newport Harbor Radiology Associates is a premier physician-owned private practice of 40+ radiologists based in the Hoag Hospital health system in Newport Beach and Irvine, California. We have seen healthy growth in volumes throughout our practice along with the expansion of the Hoag health system. Our philosophy is to foster a transparent, democratically governed practice with fairness as a guiding principle. Historically, we had operated on a model of equality: equal compensation, equal time off, equal number of work shifts. We have now evolved our practice model, embarking on a compensation model that prioritizes flexibility so that partners are free to create their preferred schedules, with some partners choosing to maximize time off and others choosing to maximize income. Some partners are minimizing or not doing call for less pay while others are doing more call for more pay. We have a hybrid practice that offers some flexibility in the amount of onsite and offsite work. Compensation and benefits: $600k+ to start, $950k+ as full partner at 1.0 FTE, with compensation over $1mil for those partners seeking to maximize income Historically 200 shifts per year as 1.0 FTE but partners can elect to do fewer or more shifts. 2-year equity partnership track with escalating pay percentage per year.
