This role involves providing pediatric interventional radiology services, including performing biopsies (liver, kidney, bone, soft tissue tumors) and drainage procedures (chest tubes, abscess, nephrostomy). Key responsibilities include managing 5-6 daily procedures, handling light callback at night, and emergent callbacks on weekends for 1-2 cases. Ideal candidates should have relevant experience in pediatric interventional radiology, with skills in procedures such as GJ tube placement, PICC lines, HD catheter insertion, thyroid FNA, LP, and joint injections. Qualifications include strong procedural skills, ability to work independently, and experience in a pediatric IR setting.
