Pershing VA Medical Center is seeking an accomplished physician leader to serve as Service Line Chief at the Cape Girardeau VA Health Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This key clinical leadership position provides oversight of physician practice and assigned clinical services while allowing the successful candidate to continue practicing within their medical specialty and maintain clinical proficiency. We welcome physicians from a broad range of backgrounds. Preferred specialties include Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Radiology, General Surgery and Urology. Physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Primary Care and Emergency Medicine will also be considered. As Service Line Chief, you will provide senior medical leadership for the Cape Girardeau HCC, helping guide clinical operations, quality, access, resource management and the delivery of high-quality Veteran care. You will work closely with facility leadership and multidisciplinary clinical teams while helping shape services that respond to the evolving needs of Veterans throughout Southeast Missouri.
