Radiologic Imaging Consultants (RIC) is a historic, progressive, and independent radiology partnership. With 16+ physicians, RIC is the largest independent radiology group in St. Charles County, the fastest growing county in Missouri, and located in the northwestern region of the St. Louis area . The practice has a 60+ year relationship with the SSM hospital network, a large midwestern multi-state non-profit health care system based in St. Louis, Missouri. Sub-specialty-focused RIC Radiologists provide community-based advanced imaging and interventions in both the hospital and outpatient arena. The main SSM St. Charles County hospitals, one 333-bed and the other 216-bed (the only trauma center, Level 2, in the county), are both stroke- and STEMI-certified. There are affiliated multidisciplinary oncology and breast outpatient facilities, which are designated Centers of Excellence, as well as an outpatient ambulatory surgery center. The RIC Partners and employed physicians thrive in a collegial, flexible, and equitable private practice with excellent work-life balance. Compensation (including excellent benefits; top quartile) and vacation (12+wk for full-time) is highly competitive and very equitable amongst all the radiologists. Short partnership track. The group utilizes an overnight teleradiology service after 7 pm. Any evening and weekend shifts can be performed from home workstations. Brand new state-of-the-art SECTRA PACS installed in 2025. Radiologic Imaging Consultants is offering: Full-time or part-time Breast Imaging position for an applicant with a strong interest in the St. Louis or Midwest region. Target Candidates: Breast Radiologists as well as Radiologists with other fellowship training specialties but a strong interest in breast imaging and procedures are also welcome. For candidates with broader interests, the position can also be crafted to include both breast and non-breast diagnostic imaging components. 100% Breast Imaging and procedures is an option for on-site positions. For hybrid options: Periodic on-site Breast coverage can be combined with remote general diagnostic coverage. Currently, remote breast is not available (but is on the horizon). The new radiologist(s) will join our group to account for several changes in status (e.g. partial retirements) as well as significant organic volume growth from our partner SSM Health System in the St. Charles area.
