Detroit Medical Center Radiology is under new leadership and expanding. What You Will Do: -On-Site position -$50k sign-on bonus -$550k base salary for 10,000 annual wRVUs; $55 paid per wRVU above threshold -Deliver high-impact clinical care across a major urban system with interesting pathology. -Teach with purpose in a modern, resident-forward environment. -Have a voice in schedules, workflows, and coverage models. Teaching and Residency: -On-site ACGME residency with 6 residents per year in a right-sized, high-touch program. -ED model: You are paired 1:1 with a resident each ED shift. Residents generate preliminary reads; you read independently and finalize with real-time feedback to optimize learning and patient care. -Use iCollaborate for streamlined case assignment, image sharing, and live attending–resident interaction. Schedule and Volume (all 8-hour, EST): -7am - 3pm EST daytime body or ER shifts, rotating occasionally through 12p-8p ER shift or 3p-11p ER shift -40 weeks of M-F work -20 weekend shifts per year -12 weeks of PTO -Schedules posted 90 days in advance for predictable work-life balance. -Volume: Median 100-110 cases per day. -Specialties/Subspecialties in the Group: --Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Body Imaging, Pediatric Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Breast and Women’s Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology. IR is supported by four Physician Assistants. Where You Will Practice: -Huron Valley–Sinai Hospital — Level III trauma; community hospital setting. -Harper University Hospital — Tertiary academic center. -Detroit Receiving Hospital — Level I trauma; primary adult trauma center. -Sinai-Grace Hospital — Level II trauma; high-volume community and trauma site.
