Our Practice San Diego Imaging is seeking an experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist for in-house weekday locums coverage, with up to four days per week available. This is an excellent opportunity for a radiologist looking for a flexible, high-quality breast imaging practice with no nights or weekends. We offer the flexibility to provide occasional coverage or work a consistent schedule of up to four days per week. Our radiologists provide imaging services at some of San Diego County’s premier hospitals and outpatient imaging centers, including Sharp Memorial Hospital, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, and Sharp Coronado Hospital. = Position Highlights Competitive daily locums rate Up to four weekdays per week available In-house position Flexible scheduling No nights or weekends Predominantly breast imaging with some general diagnostic radiology Collegial, physician-led practice environment Modern imaging infrastructure and comprehensive breast imaging program = Breast Imaging Practice The position is primarily focused on breast imaging, including: Screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis Breast ultrasound Ultrasound-guided breast procedures and biopsies Breast imaging consultations and diagnostic workups Some general diagnostic radiology Experience with breast MRI and additional image-guided procedures, including stereotactic/tomosynthesis-guided and MRI-guided breast biopsy, is a plus but not required. Qualifications MD or DO ABR-certified or ABR-eligible radiologist California medical license or eligibility for licensure Meets ACR/MQSA mammography requirements Proficient in screening and diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound Proficient in ultrasound-guided breast procedures Strong diagnostic and communication skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care = Practice Environment Work with an established, physician-led radiology group known for its collegial culture, clinical excellence, and commitment to high-quality patient care.
