Laredo Medical Center is seeking a qualified Interventional Radiologist for a 13-week locum tenens assignment with potential for ongoing coverage. This is a high-paying opportunity offering weekday clinical coverage, a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, and highly competitive call compensation. Compensation Scheduled clinical hours: $500 per hour 24-hour call: $3,000 per shift Night call: $1,000 per shift Call-back rate: $600 per hour Holiday coverage paid at 1.3 times the applicable regular or call rate Position Details Location: Laredo, Texas Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus required call Start date: November 2, 2026 Initial assignment: 3 months with potential for extension Approximately 15 patients per shift Inpatient and outpatient practice setting Adult Level III trauma facility EMR: Cerner Approximately 5 beds in the interventional radiology department Required Qualifications Active Texas medical license preferred Fellowship training preferred BLS and ACLS required Vascular and interventional radiology experience Comfortable providing inpatient and outpatient IR coverage Credentialing timeframe of approximately 30 days COVID-19 vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions may be considered Travel and malpractice coverage available as applicable This is an excellent opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist seeking a premium compensation package, consistent weekday hours, and an ongoing need in a busy Texas hospital.
