Open positions are available in the one-year Neuroradiology Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School. The program offers comprehensive training in neuroimaging and exposure to the full range of neuroradiology practice. Fellows develop expertise in education, patient care, professionalism, and research. UMass Memorial Health is the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School. The system includes approximately 1,150 beds and more than 1,800 active physicians. It is home to Worcester County’s only Level I Trauma Center, a comprehensive stroke center, and a tertiary referral center for Central New England. The Department of Radiology performs more than 1 million studies each year across five hospitals and an outpatient imaging center. The department includes more than 80 fellowship-trained radiologists and welcomes seven Diagnostic Radiology residents and two Interventional Radiology pathway residents annually. Its Division of Neuroradiology includes 10 neuroradiologists who interpret approximately 65,000 neuroimaging studies each year. Meet the Neuroradiology Faculty . Fellows train in a fully integrated imaging environment supported by an enterprise-wide Sectra PACS and Epic electronic medical record system. Across the hospitals and outpatient imaging center, they have access to eight MRI scanners, nine CT scanners, and two state-of-the-art Philips biplane neurointerventional systems. The equipment includes two GE Pioneer 3T MRI systems, a Siemens dual-source “Flash” CT, two Siemens 128-slice Definition Edge CT scanners, and a Philips spectral CT scanner.
