Whether you're filling a few hours between fellowship responsibilities, picking up extra evening and weekend cases around a full-time job, or building a reading schedule entirely on your own terms, Expert Radiology gives you the flexibility to read specialized MSK and Neuroradiology cases on a true hop on / hop off basis — backed by technology that helps you move through studies efficiently while providing excellent patient care. Moonlight During Fellowship — current MSK and Neuroradiology fellows are welcome to moonlight under their state medical license, reading real subspecialty cases and earning income while still in training. Evenings & Weekends, At Your Convenience — case volume is available around the clock, so you can read at 9 PM on a Tuesday or 7 AM on a Saturday — whatever works best for you. Specialized MSK & Neuro Caseload — focus on the subspecialty work you trained for, with a steady pipeline of musculoskeletal and neuroradiology studies from imaging centers and providers nationwide. • Transcription-Assisted Efficiency — our dictation and transcription tools are built to speed up reporting, so you spend less time on documentation and more time reading — and earning. Responsibilities • Interpret MSK and/or Neuroradiology imaging studies (and general radiology cases, if desired) through the ExRad Portal. • Use practice-provided dictation and transcription tools to produce clear, accurate, and efficient reports. • Communicate critical and significant findings promptly, in accordance with practice protocol. • Maintain productivity and quality consistent with practice standards for the cases you choose to read. Qualifications Required • M.D. or D.O. degree; completion of an ACGME-accredited (or equivalent) diagnostic radiology residency. • Currently enrolled in, or has completed, an accredited fellowship in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology or Neuroradiology. • Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) in the state(s) where you plan to read; fellows moonlighting must hold an active, independent state license. • Willingness to work as an independent contractor. • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant reading environment. Preferred Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent). Prior teleradiology experience and comfort with PACS/RIS and dictation/transcription software. Interest in a long-term, flexible relationship with a growing subspecialty practice. Schedule & Flexibility There's no rigid shift schedule here. Pick up a single case on a slow Sunday afternoon or a full block of studies on a free weeknight. You control your volume and your hours. Compensation Paid per study interpreted, with competitive per-case rates for MSK and Neuroradiology reads. There is no cap on volume — the more you read, the more you earn.
