Peninsula Radiological Associates (PRA) is seeking diagnostic radiologists to join our thriving private practice. We are offering $100K signing bonus as an enticement given continued growth and our anticipation of upcoming retirements. Our practice continues to grow year over year, however it is our high priority to maintain a healthy work/life balance with plenty of vacation and time off. Currently, we have an interest in fellowship trained body imaging radiologist or a non-fellowship trained diagnostic radiologist with comfort in interpreting Body MRI. While a future partner is preferred, both partnership track and non-partner employee positions are available options. We have several employees currently. Employee positions can work a mix of shifts including in-person and some remote shifts if that is of interest. Partners also work a good number of shifts from home as well. Ideal partnership track Body Imaging candidate will be comfortable reading a mix of case studies and modality types, including performing minor procedures (no angio) and option of basic mammography if desired. Partnership track positions: One year to partner without buy-in. $100K bonus and top 5% salary of national average after making partner. Overnight coverage provided by a national teleradiology company. 13+ weeks of vacation! Employee positions: Work a mix of in person and some remote shifts including onsite/in-person daytime shifts of 8 am – 5 pm, remote shifts of 6am - 3pm or 8 am – 5 pm, remote evening shifts of 2-10 pm or a mix. 12 weeks of vacation. PRA is a well-established group located in the Tidewater Area of eastern Virginia, providing exclusive radiology services for the Riverside Health System for the last 60 years. Riverside’s catchment area includes the peninsula region of Newport News, Williamsburg, and Hampton, as well as surrounding areas. PRA provides coverage for five hospitals, including a Level 2 Trauma Center, and multiple outpatient imaging centers. Our fifth hospital opened earlier this year and we have multiple new scanners planned from 2027 and beyond.
