Position Details San Diego Imaging is seeking an experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our physician-led practice in a full-time Employee Track position. Our radiologists provide imaging services at some of San Diego County’s premier hospitals and outpatient imaging centers, including Sharp Memorial Hospital, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, and Sharp Coronado Hospital. Position Highlights Full-time Employee Track position Four-day workweek 12 weeks of vacation annually No nights or weekends Full employee benefits Predominantly breast imaging with some general diagnostic radiology Competitive compensation Collegial, physician-led practice environment Modern imaging infrastructure and comprehensive breast imaging program Breast Imaging Specifics The position is primarily focused on breast imaging, including: Screening and diagnostic mammography, including tomosynthesis Breast ultrasound Ultrasound-guided breast procedures and biopsies Breast imaging consultations and workups Some general diagnostic radiology Experience with breast MRI and additional image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic/tomosynthesis-guided and MRI-guided biopsy, is a plus but not required. Qualifications MD or DO ABR-certified or ABR-eligible radiologist California medical license or eligibility for licensure Meets ACR/MQSA mammography requirements Proficient in screening and diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound Proficient in ultrasound-guided breast procedures Strong diagnostic and communication skills Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Practice Environment San Diego Imaging is an established, physician-focused radiology group known for its collegial culture, clinical excellence, and commitment to high-quality patient care.
