Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley P.C (MILV) is a progressive, subspecialized private practice group of over 125 radiologists, providing exclusive radiology services to Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), now a part of Jefferson. Openings Include (details below): IR Neuro, General, Body, Mammo, Peds, Cardiothoracic Plain film reader (on-site or remote, fully customizable, see below) Overnight Remote Neuro & Overnight Remote Body (partnership track or full-time employee option) About our Practice: Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley is located in the Lehigh Valley, which is a geographically and culturally diverse area, serving a mixture of urban, suburban, and rural populations. It is conveniently located in eastern Pennsylvania, approximately 1 hour from Philadelphia and 1.5 hours from New York City. Its proximity to major cities, coupled with affordable housing, strong school systems, and numerous cultural and recreational activities have made the Lehigh Valley one of the fastest growing regions in Pennsylvania. MILV has an outstanding reputation and performs over 1.5 million radiology exams per year. We have state-of-the-art equipment at fourteen campuses and multiple outpatient centers. Jefferson-Lehigh Valley, has a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Neuroscience Center, Cancer Center of Excellence, busy Neurology and Neuro-oncology services, busy emergency rooms and express care locations. We use Universal Philips PACS and Powerscribe 360 along with AI products such as Rad AI Omni and several AiDoc algorithms to aid diagnosis, prioritize reads, increase efficiency, and reduce burnout. We offer a fellowship stipend program of $2,000 a month from the date of signing a contract. Candidates completing fellowship in July 2026 & July 2027 are welcome to apply! Pay range: $500K – 850K, medical, dental, vision, 401K, productivity bonuses, some sign-on bonuses, some relocation expenses, educational stipends available, work/life balance Interventional Radiology: We are seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist requiring onsite coverage with partnership opportunity for a suitable candidate. The successful candidate will join our Interventional & Neurointerventional Radiologist team, who provide a wide range of body IR services to the network’s patients, including basic/complex venous interventions, level 1 trauma services, arterial embolization, UFE, DVT thrombolysis and thrombectomy, IVC filter placement and retrieval, kyphoplasty, spine interventions, GU and GI interventions including TIPS/BRTO, chest tubes, dialysis access interventions, pain intervention, venous access devices, CT/US guided procedures and a full range of interventional oncology services (TACE, TARE, Percutaneous Microwave, Cryoablation, and Histotripsy). The candidate will be expected to cover body IR services rotating between several hospital campuses. Neurointerventional call is covered by our dedicated team of Neurointerventional Radiologists. The clinical expectations include approximately 80% of your time performing body IR, with additional diagnostic radiology work which may include body CT/MR, US, & plain films, etc. MILV is very flexible, matching non-IR rotations to a candidate’s strengths. There will also be weekly dedicated clinical time in our growing IR clinic, supported by CRNPs, MAs, full-time schedulers & office staff, providing daily office hours. Pediatrics: Join a core group of pediatric radiologists providing sub-specialty care throughout a network that consists of 14 hospital campuses and multiple outpatient centers within Lehigh Valley Health Network, now a part of Jefferson Health. This continues to be an exciting time of growth in pediatric services at LVHN. Over the last 10 years, LVHN has become the region’s leader in pediatric care and boasts Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital at its Cedar Crest campus. LVHN has a fully accredited pediatric residency program. The pediatric medical staff continues to expand and currently has over 250 pediatric providers, including numerous pediatric specialists in over 30 subspecialty areas. There are 3 pediatric general surgeons, 2 pediatric ENTs, a pediatric neurosurgeon, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, and a pediatric urologist, among many others. Pediatric care at LVHN includes a dedicated 23-bed pediatric emergency department and a Level I trauma center with pediatric certification, a 50-bed pediatric inpatient unit, a 40-bed Level IV NICU, a 12-bed Level I PICU, a children’s cancer and multipurpose infusion center, a regional burn center certified to care for children, and a pediatric sleep disorder clinic. Neuroradiology: The full-time position requires on-site coverage and offers a partnership opportunity, if desired. Employment track is flexible, with onsite and remote reading opportunities. Reporting responsibilities can be 100% Neuroradiology with some flexibility to read other specialties based on your interest, with the remainder of the time reading general fluoroscopy and plain films. Advanced Practice clinicians will also assist in myelography and fluoroscopy. We currently perform and report current advanced neuroimaging and participate in various multidisciplinary conferences. Body: Partnership track is full-time onsite at one of the Allentown, Bethlehem, Schuylkill, Hazleton or Pocono locations for Lehigh Valley Health Network, now a part of Jefferson Health. Employment with our group can be hybrid or fully remote. Reporting responsibilities include Body Cross-Sectional Imaging, Ultrasonography, Fluoroscopy, and Plain Films. The body section also reports PET-CT, CT, Colonoscopy, Body/Musculoskeletal MRI, Cardiovascular MRI, and other state-of-the-art imaging, depending on the Radiologist’s skill set and training. The section also participates in various multidisciplinary conferences. Cardiothoracic: This is a full-time position requiring onsite coverage at our Allentown campus with partnership opportunity for the suitable candidate. Hybrid track would be an employment or independent contractor position with onsite and remote reading assignments. Reporting responsibilities include all aspects of cardiothoracic imaging (chest CT, CXR, cardiac CT and MRI) with the remainder of the time in body imaging and general radiology. We have an active cardiac imaging and lung cancer screening program and work closely with our colleagues in pulmonology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiology. We have experienced substantial growth in our Cardiac MRI, Coronary CTA and TAVR studies. and started our region’s first Cardiac PET service in July 2022. The group has an outstanding reputation and performs over 1.5 million radiology exams per year. We have state of the art equipment at the 11 campuses and multiple outpatient centers of LVHN, which has a Level I trauma center, Cancer Center of Excellence, busy pulmonary and CT surgery services including robotic surgery, endobronchial ultrasound and navigational bronchoscopy. We have a dedicated 3D lab for post-processing. Breast: Multiple sites have the ACR center of excellence designation and NAPBC accreditation and include four main Breast Health Services sites that perform over 100,000 exams per year. The position includes opportunities to work full or part time at multiple outpatient Breast Health Centers throughout Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), now a part of Jefferson Health. All imaging modalities are used, including 3D mammography with Hologic platform, upright and prone stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound, and MRI-guided breast procedures. We use SAVI reflector placement to replace traditional needle localizations. Our patients benefit from an alliance between the Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Our breast imagers play a vital role in breast cancer treatment by participating in a multidisciplinary team consisting of surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology and pathology service lines.
