This role offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the mission-driven satisfaction of serving our nation's Veterans. Responsibilities Interpret diagnostic imaging studies including CT, MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound Interpret general imaging studies as needed Serve as a subspecialty consultant to clinicians and surgeons based on applicable expertise Act as an imaging consultant to clinical services and sections Direct and oversee the activities of residents, Medical Support Assistants, technologists, and nurses Supervise administration of medications, including contrast agents, by technologists and/or nurses Provide supervision and interpretation of interventional procedures, depending on experience and preference Participate in our multidisciplinary Tumor Board , helping coordinate care within our active liver-directed therapy program (based on experience and preference) Opportunity to teach and train residents in partnership with our academic affiliate (based on experience and preference) Ideal Candidate Fellowship-trained diagnostic and/or interventional radiologist Highly qualified, motivated, and able to interpret a broad range of diagnostic studies Comfortable working independently during night-shift remote coverage Strong communicator able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clinical staff remotely Interest in subspecialty consultation, interventional procedures, and/or resident education a plus Schedule Night shift coverage , Eastern Standard Time Remote/telework position Ready to make an impact in Veteran care?
