Our radiologists often say it, and we truly mean it: “Summit is a family.” We work hard every day to foster a culture of friendliness, collaboration, and fun while delivering exceptional patient care. Featured Opportunity: Overnight Radiologist Our night crew is a tight-knit group who collaborate seamlessly to deliver exceptional care to our evening and overnight patients. Night radiologists are highly valued, well-compensated members of our group — never on an island, always integrated into the full Summit family. Position and schedule — 100% remote, company-provided home workstation: Shifts: 8-hour nights, main overnight hours 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM ET. Cadence: 1 week on / 2 weeks off at baseline (120 shifts per year). Flexibility: An open culture of swapping and trading shifts so everyone can meet personal and family obligations. Significant moonlighting opportunities (not restricted to overnights). What the work looks like: Diverse case mix — primarily bread-and-butter community hospital studies, with Level II trauma activations and a steady stream of interesting cases from rural Georgia. Strong comfort with CTA/CTP and acute neuroimaging is essential. Moderate-to-high volume that keeps you engaged without overload; morning portable radiographs are intentionally excluded from your worklist. Read advanced Body, Neuro, and MSK cases as preliminary or final based on your comfort level. Overlapping coverage — you’ll always work alongside at least one additional radiologist for real-time consultation and backup. We’re also hiring across the practice Beyond overnights, we’re growing our diagnostic and subspecialty teams. The broader Summit opportunity includes: Top earnings — among the highest of any radiology group. Flexible work environment — all current diagnostic shifts (outside of mammo) are remote; all off-hours/weekend shifts are from home with a company-provided workstation. Professional satisfaction — maintain a broad diagnostic skill set on a shared general worklist with subspecialty support for complex cases; deliver personal-touch care to smaller hospitals and underserved rural communities. Diverse practice settings — urban and rural hospitals, with no transplant, Level 1 trauma, or neurosurgical ICUs. 3-year partnership track with significant growth potential, including a partner cash balance plan ($100–200k/year pre-tax with safe harbor). Flexible employment models — partnership, employee, contractor, and per diem arrangements considered. The group has zero interest in selling, and provides a protective clause in all associate-track contracts. Cutting-Edge Technology 24/7 Dedicated Support Staff — experienced “read room” assistants available around the clock to call critical findings to referring physicians, notify technologists of issues, and handle other operational tasks. IT on call 24/7 in case issues arise. Modern Technology Stack — Fujifilm PACS, PowerScribe One, and RadAI Impressions (with RadAI Reporting launching soon). Custom Unified Worklist — all studies flow into a single, efficient list; notify support staff of any issue with one click. Secure Communication — HIPAA-compliant TigerConnect for fast, clean messaging with colleagues, referring physicians, support staff, and technologists. Our culture Full inclusion in the group — everyone, especially our night radiologists, is warmly welcomed into the daily group chat, regular social events, and holiday parties. Shared worklist and shared accountability — no cherry-picking and no “eat-what-you-kill” RVU games. Benefits & perks Comprehensive, fully funded CME allowance. Company-provided workstation. Signing bonus and relocation allowance. 1099 or W2 options available. 100% employer-paid family PPO health plan for W2 employees, including dental and vision. 401(k) with profit-sharing, fully funded by the group after your first year. Associates receive the same vacation as partners — currently 12+ weeks. What we’re looking for Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Active Georgia medical license (or eligible). For overnights: comfortable functioning as a generalist with strong ER/Neuro/Body skills. Self-directed, steady, and collaborative — the kind of colleague who shares the worklist, picks up the hard case when it lands in front of you, and is glad to support the team.
