Our open position: We are seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our team and help maintain a group of four fellowship-trained IRs, with a planned retirement at the end of 2026. Interventional Radiologists rotate through a dedicated IR schedule Monday–Friday, with the IR rotation divided equally, approximately once per month. The IR is also responsible to cover general diagnostic shifts when not assigned to IR. All interventional procedures are performed at our central Level II trauma hospital in Corvallis. Our IR case mix is predominantly bread-and-butter procedures—including vascular access, drain placement, CT- and US-guided tissue sampling, biliary interventions, and PEG placement—with additional cases such as trauma and GI bleed embolization, PE/DVT thrombectomy, gonadal vein embolization, and uterine fibroid embolization, Y90 therapy are additional services that are offered with the group aspiring to begin prostate artery embolization in the near future. The position is 35 weeks per year with 17 weeks of vacation, The IR shift is 0800-1600 with participation in overnight and weekend IR call coverage solely at the level II trauma center in Corvallis is encouraged and taken on an individual at will basis via a 1099 locums’ arrangement with the local hospital system. Non-IR shifts are mostly onsite with diagnostic imaging the focus of the day with the IR available to cover any potential inpatient drain/biopsy or other minor outpatient needle/fluoroscopic procedure. These shifts are designated 0800-1600 with some remote rotations being 0900-1700. Remote weekend call shifts are shared equally, generally a total of 16 individual shifts per year. These shifts are currently 0700-1700 with afterhours coverage provided by a teleradiology service. Overnight coverage is provided by a teleradiology service weekdays and weekends. This is a partnership track position which is 2 years for new graduates and one year for experienced radiologist. Partnership pay and vacation are divided equally with the opportunity to invest in the 3 jointly owned MRI. Current partner salary is above the 75% percentile.
