About UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital Allen Hospital is a 204-bed community hospital serving the Cedar Valley and is the busiest hospital in the area. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. Our outpatient facilities, United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway, provide accessible care across multiple locations.
