A scorecard of the 13 largest sources of US radiologist job listings, written for the leaders who hire. How much of the market each board shows, how fresh its listings are, how many are reposts, who advertises there and whether the posted pay is usable.
Counts describe the listings RadBoard tracks on the 13 boards and 7 smaller sources. They do not measure every US vacancy, the number of applicants or hires, or the size of a board's audience. Physician radiology roles only; training positions excluded.

xAID helps U.S. radiology groups scale CT volume without hiring additional radiologists. When 37% of open radiologist listings were first seen 90 or more days ago, this is the lever that does not depend on a candidate existing.
Unlike competitors who only flag pathologies, xAID delivers a full report - so your radiologists review instead of dictating. That lifts CT reporting capacity by up to 50%, not just detection rates. If you are turning away volume because you cannot hire, that is the revenue this recaptures.
Every report passes a European radiologist before it reaches your worklist. Your own radiologists still review and sign each one - they remain the interpreting physician of record. The difference is that they review a clean report instead of repairing one.
And you get the full report at the price of narrow AI - the same budget line as a single tool that only flags, so the comparison is like-for-like.
No board shows more than 24% of open listings, one new listing in 8 is a repost, and only 32% of listings carry a pay range narrow enough to benchmark. A search run on that market takes time. Reporting capacity that does not wait for the search is the other half of the plan.

Part of RadBoard.io - the largest aggregator of US radiology jobs: 4,485 open radiologist listings from 21 sources on 14 Oct 2026, AI-powered search, salary map.
LinkedIn carries 1,072 of 4,485 open radiologist listings. LinkedIn, ACR and AuntMinnie together carry 51%; the other ten boards and 7 smaller sources carry the rest.
A benchmark built from one board sees a quarter of the market at best, and the boards barely overlap. Read at least three before you price an offer or size up the competition for your own listing.
Over the seven weeks to 10 Oct, LinkedIn, AuntMinnie and NEJM CareerCenter carried 64% of new listings. RadWorking holds 11% of open listings but brought 3% of new ones, and 70% of its open listings were first seen 90 or more days ago.
Benchmark against what is being posted now. A board's stock of 90-day-old listings tells you what was offered last quarter, possibly for a chair that is no longer open, and it competes with your new listing for the same reader.
This is how long a listing stays visible on a board, not how long a role takes to fill. Some boards remove listings on a clock; others keep them until someone takes them down.
Plan renewals per board. On a board with a 30-day window, a listing that is not renewed disappears while the chair is still open. On a board that never purges, an old listing keeps drawing calls for a role you may have filled.
Of 4,032 listings first seen between 24 Aug and 10 Oct, 529 (13%) appeared within 14 days after the same employer's listing, with the same title in the same state, closed on the same board. On AuntMinnie the share is 25%; on LinkedIn 5.9%; on RadWorking 0.9%.
Volume overstates demand. A board's count of new listings mixes new chairs with renewals of old ones, and an employer that reposts every few weeks looks like several openings. When you read competitor activity, count employers and titles, not listings.
64% of NEJM CareerCenter listings come from staffing agencies, and 25% on LinkedIn. On RSNA, 41% come from one PE-backed practice. IndependentRadiology.com is 94% independent practices; hospital career sites carry only hospital systems and academic centers.
Know who sits next to your listing. On a board led by agencies, a named practice with a direct line to the group stands out. On a board led by one large group, candidates read your terms against theirs.
2,091 open listings carry an annual pay range. The median range is $135,000 wide; 827 (40%) span $200,000 or more, and 282 have a ceiling at least twice the floor. Only 32% of listings give a range narrower than $200,000.
A wide range is a disclosure, not a benchmark. When you price an offer, use ranges under $200,000 and read the rest as noise. When you post one, make it legible: a narrow base range, with the bonus and partnership terms stated separately.
977 open listings are flagged remote, 22% of the total. ACR, LinkedIn, RadWorking and AuntMinnie carry 67% of them. Remote listings show pay more often than the rest (68% vs 51%) and post a higher median ceiling on the same median floor.
Pay medians use annual ranges outside RadWorking (541 remote, 1,550 other). They describe posted ranges, not earnings, and mix subspecialties, schedules and regions.
If you hire remote readers, these four boards hold most of the competing offers, and those offers show pay more often than on-site ones. Compare on ceiling and schedule as well as floor: the median floor is the same for remote and on-site listings.
Every column uses the same 4,485 open radiologist listings on 14 Oct 2026, or the listings first seen 24 Aug to 10 Oct where the column measures flow or shelf life.

Pick boards by the job you need done. To be seen next to new listings, look at new per week. To benchmark pay, look at the range column. To read competition, look at staffing and the largest advertiser.
RadBoard.io job history and live-listing interfaces, pulled 14 Oct 2026: 25,135 posting records from 23 sources, first collected 9 Mar 2026. A listing is open if it was active on 14 Oct.
Physician radiology roles only. Training positions are excluded at source. A title screen removed 51 open listings for other roles (technologists, managers, physician assistants, other specialties), 45 of them from the 131 open hospital career site listings. Indeed is excluded throughout.
The source of a listing is the site its link points to. SAR, SIR, SPR, ASER, ACR and RSNA are the job boards of those societies; hospital career sites are employer pages, mostly on Workday. 7 smaller sources count in totals only.
Collection runs every 5 to 10 days from 24 Aug; before that, gaps reached three weeks, so flow and shelf life use listings first seen 24 Aug to 10 Oct (4,306). Shelf life is a Kaplan-Meier estimate of the share still open at 28 days.
Repost: a new listing whose employer, normalized title and state match a listing on the same board that closed within the previous 14 days. Relist: the same listing closes and reappears. Twin: an open listing with the same employer and city on another board, with the same normalized title (exact) or the same subspecialty tags (likely).
Annual range: minimum and maximum between $150,000 and $2,000,000, unit 'year' or blank, minimum no higher than maximum (2,091 listings outside RadWorking). Width is maximum minus minimum. A fixed figure counts as a zero-width range.
Advertiser type and the remote flag come from RadBoard's classification of each listing and employer. Names are matched on RadBoard's employer record; brand variants are not merged.
